I am a personal chef with a passion for good food. My clients often comment on my obvious “joie de vivre” in their kitchens.
Food, its preparation and its consumption, has been my passion my entire life. I have almost 50 years’ experience preparing meals. Food has been my primary interest for so long that my friends and family frequently tease me about my seemingly endless reservoir of food trivia.
I came to Madison in the 1960’s and obtained a degree from the University of Wisconsin. I then worked in the Madison insurance industry for 36 years before retiring in 2004 to take care of my ailing father. After Dad’s passing, it was important to me to obtain as much culinary business education as possible before embarking on a career as a personal chef. Serving my clients in a professional manner means a great deal to me. My qualifications include:
- Graduate of the Culinary Business Academy
- Premier Member of the United States Personal Chef Association
- ServSafe certification*--the nationwide standard for safe food handling.
- Earned the Certified Personal Chef designation in 2008 from the United States Personal Chef Association

My specialty is “Comfort Food with a Gourmet Flair”. You receive a marvelous variety of fresh, preservative-free, nutritious and downright delicious foods.
